I’m Dr. Mariah, and my passion for wound care led me to tallow. I originally began formulating balms for my equine patients, using tallow to support skin regeneration, reduce inflammation, and protect and heal wounds. It didn’t take long to realize how powerful this ancestral ingredient is for human skin too soothing everything from dryness and fine lines to scars and rashes.

Our tallow is handcrafted using pure suet tallow, the highest-quality fat from around the kidneys of grass-fed, grass-finished cows. This form of tallow is exceptionally rich in nutrients and boasts unparalleled purity, making it ideal for skincare. Not only does our suet tallow have a luxurious texture, but it is also packed with skin-nourishing compounds like conjugated linoleic acid, vitamin E, omega-3s, beta carotene, and vitamin A. These nutrients make it deeply restorative and perfect for promoting natural skin repair and hydration.

Our Ranch Connection

We proudly partner with Bella Beef Company, a local ranch in the heart of Santa Ynez Valley, California. The cattle are humanely raised on open pasture, grass-fed and grass-finished without antibiotics or hormones. Grazing on native grasses, sagebrush, and the unique coastal elements of the Santa Ynez Valley, they produce an exceptionally pure and nutrient-dense tallow. This sustainable and ethical approach to ranching ensures that every product we make supports not just healthy skin, but also animal welfare, environmental care, and transparency from start to finish.
