Tallow closely mimics the natural oils (sebum) in human skin, allowing it to deeply moisturize and support the skin barrier without clogging pores. It's rich in fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K), conjugated linoleic acid, and essential fatty acids that nourish, repair, and protect — all without synthetic fillers or water.
Is your tallow grass-fed and hormone-free?
Yes! We source our suet tallow exclusively from Bella Beef Company in Santa Ynez Valley, where cattle are 100% grass-fed, grass-finished, pasture-raised, and humanely treated — never given hormones, antibiotics, grains, or GMOs.
Can I use this on sensitive or acne-prone skin?
Absolutely. Our formulas are non-comedogenic, fragrance-free (Pure Unscented), and made with only skin-compatible ingredients. Many of our customers with acne, eczema, and sensitive skin report noticeable improvements in hydration, clarity, and inflammation.
Is it safe for babies and children?
Yes — our Pure Unscented balm contains no essential oils, making it gentle enough for baby skin. It’s ideal for baby rashes, dry patches, and sensitive areas. As always, we recommend a small patch test when trying any new product.
What’s the shelf life of your balms?
Our products are waterless and naturally preserved with stable oils and tallow. They typically last 12–18 months when stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
How should I store my balm?
Keep your jar tightly sealed in a cool, dry place. While refrigeration isn’t necessary, it can help extend shelf life, especially in warmer climates. If the balm softens or melts, simply refrigerate to restore texture.
How do I use it?
Scoop a small amount with clean fingers or a spatula and warm between your hands. Apply anywhere that needs deep hydration — face, neck, hands, lips, or body. Use morning or night, or as needed for skin repair and nourishment.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do! We ship within the United States and to select international destinations. Shipping costs and delivery times vary by location. Please note, international customers are responsible for any customs fees or import taxes.
